    Good place with great amenities like Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness centre. I remember when the staff helped me find my lost wallet during my first stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing experience!

    A balcony with a surprise view

    Each morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast buffet with fine views from the balcony. The concierge was helpful, offering personalized recommendations for exploring the city.

    On our second night, the noise from the restaurant below made it hard to sleep. The room was much smaller than advertised, disheartening.

    Istanbul vibes and good service 🌆

    Flippen enjoyed the kind staff, especially the chommie at reception who always had a smile. Breakfast was lekker, fresh spread every morning! Plus, the location was sharp-sharp for exploring everything nearby without any hassle.

    The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, had to vasbyt sometimes.

    The location was close to the main attraction in Istanbul.

    Breakfast was below standards and we ended up not going at all. The hotel does not take Euro card payments but only takes Euro cash (although the prefred currency is ststaed as Euro). If you are paying by card they charge you in TL after converting the EUR amount at a high FX rate. The bank will then charges you again to convert the card payment into EUR. A real rip off! We asked for a double room as per the booking but they gave us a twin room instead with a view of a brick wall and the fire stairwell. The room was also next to the cleaners office and they start chatting really loud at 7 am and they do not shut up!

    It was our 2nd visit to Istanbul and 2nd holiday in Hamidiye becouse this hotel is very comfortable (clean large rooms with all necessary facilities, always fresh towels, large balconies), personal is friendly and competent (especially receptionists), breakfasts are good and different. Hotel has great accomodation (by foot to all main sightseeing - Sophia, Suleymaniye, Sultanahmet, Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar), close to transport - tram and bus to all Istanbul's parts (about 10 min. to Taksim Square and Istiklal, Dolmabahche Palase, Galata Tower).
